1. How to make order and payment for the portrait?

Our requirements (sizes, color and number of objects in portrait etc) for the portrait can be sent via email to the artist or filled out the Online Order Form. If the Order Form page doesn't work due to finicky reason, please email the artist. The photographs are possible send along with your payment by Mail, or send photo as a JPEG image format via email attachment. Any additional requirements for any changes with photograph, etc. can be sent by email to the artist as well. PayPal, money order, or cashiers check (bank check) and Personal checks will be accepted. Online credit card payment will be available soon. Personal checks will be held for extra time before it is cleared out in the bank. 50% deposit with the order is required firstly and the other 50% of the total amount will be paid before delivering the portrait with 100% satisfaction. All original photos mailed in will be returned with the finished work of portrait. After the portrait is completed and approved by you, it will be mail to you upon receiving your payment of the other half of the total amount. Complete satisfaction will be achieved through working closely with you. You will be known when start working on your portrait and email you the images of portrait in progress and image of the completed portrait for your approval.

Note: the artist retains image copyright. However, if the artist intends to use the image of your portrait on online gallery, your permission will be getting before posting it.

2. What kinds of photos will be provided?

The definition photo is required that the work of portrait you like will be created precisely. If photo provided lose definition or the subject is diminutive, a lot of guesswork will have to create on the detail, and the portrait will not be as exact as it could be come out. The detail of the work of portrait is from Artist opinion related to the quality and focus of the photographs you provided. However, sometimes the photo you really want to draw can be very low quality; but the artist even possible do a favor to work it out and make you satisfaction. It can be combined for subjects, features, or backgrounds from different individual photographs, and elements can be omitted except feature. If the essential photo is old or blurry or has flash-eye problems etc. extra photos are proposed as a reference for details.

3. What sizes of portraits can be offered?

Basically 4 sizes of portrait are available. The Standard Sizes 16x20 inch. and 22x28 in. recommend

1. 12 x 16 inch. For the best fits 1 Person for 1 work of portrait.

2. 16 x 20 in. For the best fits 1 - 2 persons in 1 work of portrait.

3. 20 x 24 in. For the best fits up to 4 persons in 1 work of portrait, or a work of portrait down to the waist.

4. 22x 28 in. For the best fits up to 6 persons or a full-body in 1 work of portrait.

*Portrait of Animals will be same fitting sizes to person.

* According to your requirements, the artist can custom and paint/draw certain sizes for you.

* The artist will give you an advice, if you are not quite sure what size you need for your portrait, especially for the places you will put it such as office, fireplace, hallway, living room, and dinning room, etc.

4. What kinds of medium will be used?

In general, the professionally used charcoals and pastels will be used for Black & White and Color work of portraits. However, the accurately use of medium certainly depends on different subjects, as the means of expression, the different medium of character in charcoals and pastels will be used for portray subject accurately. The finished portrait will be sprayed with a matte, fine-mist fixative so as to make protection and keep longer life.

5. How long will the portrait be completed?

That depends on sizes and subjects. Normally your portrait will begin in 3 days to 1 week upon receiving your order. However, if holiday time approaches, there will have a backlog especially. If the orders are backed up due to holidays, it may take two to three weeks; so as to avoid holiday delays, advance order (especially for Christmas) are suggested. If any changes or suggestion are needed during the process, an image of your portrait will be sent to you via email so that you can see the effect before delivery.

6. Can the portrait be matted and framed?

All finished portraits will be matted for safe shipping reason. The matting board will only pack the portrait so that you can choose the frame you like. No frame with the glass will be shipped due to fragile reason. Different sizes of frames can be purchased at very reasonable prices from arts and crafts stores or department stores such as Ikea, Michael's, Wal-Mart, and K-Mart, etc.

7. What is the return policy?

Your satisfaction to artist's all works can be guaranteed from the artist's opinion; otherwise, your money will be refunded fully. During the processing of your work of portrait, a digital image of your portrait will be sent to you via email and let you see the effect, and any changes necessary can be made before completion. Therefore your finished portrait will make your satisfaction completely before delivery to you.
